The Philadelphia Flyers and Minnesota Wild have a lot more in common than what initially meets the eye. They are two teams that are much better at home than on the road, have had offensive struggles at times this year, and are within playoff striking distance.
However, the road to the postseason is much clearer for the Wild, who are only two points out with two games in hand. The Flyers, on the other hand, are five points out and no longer have games in hand on the wild card holders.
