No excuses for Flyers

The players don’t want to hear excuses for their poor play.

The Philadelphia Flyers may have lost three games in a row, but they certainly aren’t making any excuses for themselves.

Head coach Dave Hakstol opted for an optional practice ahead of Thursday’s tilt with the Buffalo Sabres. It was a telling sign that almost every player showed up, a rarity for a non-mandatory skate.

After the loss on Tuesday night, the Flyers made it clear that they are looking to get past this and that they aren’t looking for any easy ways out.
